Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact

The System & Test Engineer will largely plan and execute trials, both in Singapore and potentially overseas, to test and evaluate the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) System which can include but not limited to Radar, RF sensing, Electro-Optical and Command Control Systems. The Engineer will be involved, where needed, in the market survey/ study of the required systems, gathering their technical and performance specifications to propose to the Customer. Upon the Customer’s award of the Order, the Engineer will undergo training of the System conducted by the OEM while preparing for the conduct of the trial and evaluation in Singapore (or overseas if needed). The Engineer will also help to generate the test plan as well as the final report for delivery to either internal or external customers.

• Set up, operate and conduct OEM system(s) test & evaluation trials in Singapore or overseas (if required).

• Involved in the review of the technical specifications of the OEM system(s) so as to prepare for the testing of the system(s)

• Preparation for the trials in Singapore which involve:

• Site surveys for appropriate test site

• Application for the required permits to the government agencies

• Logistics and transport for the system to and from the site, including supporting equipment

• Documentation of the test plan and test profiles, where required

• Conduct of the required safety briefings and implementation of safety measures, where needed

• Evaluation and documentation of the test results

• May be involved in the system deployment for events in Singapore for a few days, if required.

• Undergo system engineering, operator or maintenance training conducted by the OEM. Some of this training may be conducted overseas at OEM premises.  

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent

• Prefer candidate with technical knowledge in one or more areas: RF or microwave systems, electro-optics, radar or electronic warfare.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools – Word, PowerPoint, Excel

• Positive attitude and willing to learn

• Team player

• Willing to work outdoors and at different sites in Singapore. Some trials and activities may be done after office hours or on weekends, if needed.
