Project Manager-Marine Civil Works (Saudi Arabia) - #1096185

Overall Purpose of Job:

To support on a greenfield shipyard engineering design project. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineering/Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of the greenfield shipyard engineering design project, ensuring that all project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing the shipyard engineering design project.

- Coordinate and interface with all stakeholders, including appointed Consultant and Client.

- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.

- Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and specifications.

- Review compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders.

- Assist in managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

- Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.

- Assist in the resolution of technical issues and challenges that arise during the project.

- Review and preparation of relevant project deliverables and documents

Knowledge & Skills:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.

· Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools

· Knowledge on Civil Works

· Knowledge on Shipyard operations (preferably)

Experience:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management or related role

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil works, preferably related to Marine

· Preferably 2 years of experience in shipyard environment

Qualification:

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Project Management or related field

Successful applicant will be hired on 2 years contract, with frequent travel required to Saudi Arabia.
