FABRICATION ENGINEER - #1096628

Job Responsibilities:

• To supervise and manage day to day equipment / structural fabrication schedule/ progress.

• Conduct production ability studies with Engineering during product development

• To improve on work processes and equipment upgrades.

• Initiate, assign work and monitor jobs to the fabrication work team every morning and throughout the day.

• To ensure material availability for jobs.

• Preparation of the required reports and ensuring the discipline of technicians

• To manage good housekeeping practice of the workshop and premise.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Structural, or Welding Engineering.

• Good in communication skill with internal and external parties.

• 3 to 5 years’ experience required in Structural Steel works with good knowledge of welding and fabrication engineering , preferable in heavy equipment industry.

• Strong knowledge of welding processes, structural fabrication, and corrosion protection methods.

• Familiarity with classification society rules and marine fabrication standards.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
