Business Development Manager
Permanent role
Basic up to $ 5,500 + VB
Monday to Friday: Office Hour
Location: Woodlands
Responsibilities:
Develop strategic plans for new store openings, lease renewals, relocations, expansions, and closures.
Negotiate and manage lease renewals with landlords to ensure favorable terms.
Analyze the impact of renovation cycles, sales transfers, rollout of new initiatives, and store network changes.
Conceptualize creative design proposals for tenders and maintain a network of designers for collaboration.
Coordinate closely with Project and Maintenance teams to address facility issues, renovations, and landlord-related works.
Review lease agreements, consult legal advisors, and highlight any contractual discrepancies.
Manage lease documentation processes, ensuring timely completion and updates of leasing reports and schedules.
Prepare and update weekly or monthly reports for submission to senior management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property agents, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Conduct site visits to identify and assess potential locations for business expansion.
Collaborate with landlords and property agents to secure new sites via tenders or direct negotiations.
Foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders to support sustained business growth.
Monitor real estate trends in Singapore to identify suitable opportunities for brand expansion.
Participate in industry events and networking functions as needed to strengthen market presence.
Additional Information:
Diploma / Degree in Business, Real Estate or related fields with minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant working experience in tenancy management and leasing
Possess solid presentation skills, proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Well versed with commercial contracts terms and conditions
Able to work independently
Able to facilitate and orchestrate resources cross functionally to support business development activities
Highly motivated, acute business sense with an analytical mind
Experience in F&B chains and public or private tendering processes would be added advantage
