Senior Manager (Commercial Excellence)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: West Singapore (1-minute walk from nearest MRT station)
Duration: 7-Month Contract (Maternity Cover)

About the Role:
Our Client, in the FMCG space, is looking for an experienced and meticulous individual to join their Commercial Excellence team on a contract basis. This maternity cover role involves overseeing supplier management operations, driving key projects, and leading supplier engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate should be commercially savvy, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage supplier management projects and billing activities.

• Lead the coordination and execution of biannual Supplier Townhalls.

• Develop and manage governance processes, including policy updates and annual declarations.

• Create, automate, and maintain vendor scorecards and dashboards.

• Manage strategic communications with suppliers on business-impacting updates.

• Oversee monthly margin and business metrics reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

• Support contract management processes and inquiries in collaboration with internal teams.

• Conduct SKU net cost analysis and support deal cost analytics.

• Gather requirements and oversee user testing for data dashboards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in commercial excellence, supplier management, or cross-functional project roles.

• Background in retail, FMCG, or supply chain industries is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides), with working knowledge of Google App Script.

• Familiarity with data platforms like BigQuery and dashboarding tools.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in margin reporting and business metrics tracking.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects efficiently.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented mindset.
