The Application Engineer will be responsible for analyzing product configurations, delivering tailored engineering solutions, and supporting our customers with high-quality technical expertise. Your contributions will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening long-term partnerships.

The Application Engineering team operates with a balanced level of autonomy, empowered to make informed technical decisions that align with customer needs and project goals. The team actively collaborate, sharing insights and expertise to develop effective solutions and continuously improve processes. While each engineer is responsible for managing their own tasks, the team fosters a supportive environment where open discussion and collective problem-solving are encouraged.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide pre-sales technical support, including preparing quotations, cost proposals, and participating in technical meetings or presentations with customers.

  • Design and develop engineering drawings and documentation in accordance with customer specifications.

  • Offer technical guidance and propose alternative solutions to meet customer requirements.

  • Analyze product configurations and components, perform engineering calculations, and prepare technical drafts.

  • Manage project documentation and ensure timely execution of project deliverables.

  • Liaise with principals and relay customer feedback to support product and service improvements.

  • Foster strong customer relationships by delivering value-added solutions.

  • Monitor order processing and project schedules to ensure timely delivery.

  • Source and evaluate quotations from third-party vendors for non-standard components with industry trends and advancements to leverage new tools and systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience: The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in a technical or engineering support role, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering services environment. They have been exposed to basic engineering design, technical documentation, and customer support processes, either through internships, academic projects, or entry-level roles.

KEY SKILLS

  • Technical Drawing & CAD Proficiency: Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings using tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to assess technical requirements and propose effective solutions.

  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and internal teams.

  • Team Collaboration: Willingness to work closely with engineers, sales, operations and project teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing specifications, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with standards.
