About the role

Join Professor Meow (JP) Pte Ltd as a tutor to inspire and educate students. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in shaping the minds of our future generations through innovative and engaging teaching methods.

What you'll be doing

• Teach engaging and effective lessons in A-Math (Additional Mathematics) and E-Math (Elementary Mathematics) for Secondary 1–4 students.

• Continuously create, review, and improve teaching materials to meet diverse learning needs.

• Adapt lesson plans and teaching approaches to cater to students of mixed abilities, including in hybrid learning environments (in-person and Zoom).

• Provide academic support and guidance to help students reach their full potential.

• Collaborate with fellow tutors to share best practices and enhance student outcomes.

• Track students’ progress and provide feedback to parents when necessary.

What we're looking for

• Strong mathematical foundation and experience teaching A-Math and E-Math based on the Singapore syllabus. A formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE or B.Ed.) is not required, but subject mastery and teaching experience are essential.

• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school or tuition setting.

• Able to work on weekends

• Responsible, committed, and effective at managing classes to deliver consistent learning outcomes.

• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for education.

• Adaptable and proactive in refining teaching strategies and lesson materials.
