Process Engineer (Plating) - #1094604

Our Client:

• MNC Electronic Manufacturing Company

• Joo Koon ( Walkable from MRT)

• Mon - Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm

• Up to $6000 + AWS + Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain plating processes to improve coating quality, yield, and chemical stability, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASTM, RoHS, and IATF 16949.

• Analyze plating defects (e.g. peeling, pitting, discoloration), implement corrective actions, and support both manual and automated plating lines including pre- and post-treatment stages.

• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and automation teams on new product introductions (NPI), tooling qualification, and process validation for manufacturing readiness.

• Lead training and supervision of operators, technicians, and junior engineers on plating techniques, safety practices, equipment handling, and SOP adherence.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics and methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste, lower costs, and enhance productivity.

• Maintain accurate documentation for SOPs, FMEA, control plans, and audits; coordinate with vendors on equipment upgrades and ensure readiness for internal, customer, and third-party audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Mechanical

• 3-4 years of relevant experience as process engineer

• Knowledgeable in IPC Standards & Quality Control (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)
