Technical Specialist - #1095589

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the mechanical, electrical, or both mechanical & electrical assembly checkout of equipment modules, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
• Set up production equipment and conduct final integration and testing.
• Assemble production equipment based on manufacturing work instructions and mechanical drawings (and/or electrical wiring/wire harnessing based on circuitry blueprints and work instructions).
• Perform final testing to ensure equipment performance meets customer requirements before buy-off.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting and improving assembly efficiency to reduce costs.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and adhere to work safety instructions.

MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum NITEC qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to read electro-mechanical drawings.
• At least 3 years of experience in a machine production/assembly environment.
• Preferably from a semiconductor or general automation background.
• Entry level NITEC candidates may apply.
