Assistant Process Engineer /MFG Woodlands! - #1095322

• Support in process improvements, customer returns, cycle time reduction and scrap reduction initiatives.

• Work closely with Process/Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve the process capability.

• Ensure the scrap, production yield and cycle time reduction targets are met.

• Review process issues, NCR and conduct failure analysis.

• Updating of Manufacturing work instructions/routers.

• Participate in cross-functional teams on various improvement projects.

• Conduct Evaluations/Special Build Request.

• Support QA for failure analysis and identification of corrective action for customer returns and internal CAR’s.

• Preparation of the failure analysis report on customer return parts.

• Co-ordinate and expedite First article build with Production.

• Participate as a team player in maintaining a conducive, healthy & safe work environment.

• Maintains good housekeeping, safety and discipline in work area.

• Hands-on experience in assembly of prototype module.

• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering is preferred.

• 3 to 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.

• Must be self-motivated, quality oriented, organized, good communicator, and a team player.

• Possess good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must.

• Good knowledge and skill in SolidWorks is an added advantage.
