PRODUCTION ENGINEER - #1096909

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Engineer – Electroplating to oversee and optimize daily plating operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production flow, maintain process quality, and uphold safety and environmental standards specific to electroplating processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

·        Work closely with the Management, Manager, and teams to determine the materials and processes needed to cover the production demand.

·        Establish daily٫ weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.

·        Assign workers to each production activity and monitor their work to ensure that they finish on time and within the quality standard.

·        Address issues immediately when they arise to reduce disruption to the production.

·        Perform quality checks and control on the production throughout the various stages of production.

·        Provide quality output.

·        Ensure no quality issue for the end products.

·        Guide and coach new employees٫ monitoring their productivity.

·        Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.

·        Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior Managers or Management.

·        Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.

·        Ensure good housekeeping of the production areas and promote safe work practices at all times.

·        Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.

·        Any other ad-hoc duties or projects as and when assigned by the Manager or Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Production Engineering.

• 2+ years of experience in electroplating or surface treatment production environments.

• Solid understanding of electrochemical plating principles, bath maintenance, and quality control.

• Knowledge of plating equipment (e.g., tanks, rectifiers, filtration systems, conveyors).

• Familiarity with surface preparation methods (degreasing, acid pickling, activation, etc.).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plating specifications.

• Strong problem-solving and team coordination skills.

• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations relevant to plating and hazardous chemicals.
