Working Hours:
Mon to Thu: 9:00am – 6:30pm
Fri: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Location: Near Boon Lay / Choa Chu Kang MRT
Contract Duration: 12 months

Job Scope:

• Provide structured support to youths with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a residential setting

• Assist with personal care needs for low-functioning residents

• Implement visual schedules and consistent routines to support daily activities

• Manage sensory sensitivities and minimize environmental triggers

• Engage residents in meaningful recreational and enrichment activities, including:

  • Adapting activities based on individual functioning levels

  • Designing sensory-appropriate tasks

  • Conducting small group sessions to encourage social interaction

  • Facilitating modified physical activities suitable for all abilities

  • Using visual aids and social stories to enhance understanding

• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Care Plans (ICPs)

• Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists, and other professionals

• Record behavioral observations and track individual progress

• Apply appropriate behavior management strategies

• Support residents in developing essential daily living skills

Requirements:

• Singaporean citizen

• Diploma or Degree, with relevant experience supporting youths with special needs

• Familiarity with crisis prevention, de-escalation strategies, and sensory regulation techniques
