Staff QA Test & Product Engineer - #1094973

Job Summary :

Responsible for QA Laser testing Methodology & Metrology and accountable for Project Improvement & Product reliability Testing for Optics Manufacturing in US Company located in Singapore.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Optics in QA Laser testing Methodology & Metrology developing, implementing, and accountable for improvement project / setup product reliability and minimize risk exposure through control systems, procedures, methods, and practices designed to carry out these objectives consistently. Review process procedures / Work Instruction on a continuous basis to accomplish the above. 

• Ensure Company Document Control management system.

• The Incumbent is requiring coordinating with respective departments to assure product quality and meeting internal stakeholder or external customer needs. Maintain strong internal awareness to meet process specification requirements.

• Lead and manage New Product Introduction and First Article Inspection Report setup and Cross-department Evaluation, Analyzing and Reporting to all stake holders. 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Physics or Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
   

Skills

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving & trouble shooting skills are essential.

• Ability to assist in methodizing and improving manufacturing processes.

• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of optics and/or metrology would be beneficial. Well verse with SPC or Statistical tools.

• Ability to interface between in-house sales/technical and business development support.

• Drafting & Analytical knowledge and data collection on analyzing engineering evaluation.

• Capable to perform simulation & failure mode analytical skill in various product defect involvement.

Other Requirement

Must commit to Overseas Training estimate duration of 6 to 2 weeks at Coherent site in United States for future date. Training bond 1.5 years will start from date of return from overseas.
