Automotive Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater) - #1094555

Purpose:

Skilled position to carry out panel/structural repairs and restoration work on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and repair damaged vehicle structures using specialized tools and equipment.

• Perform welding, pulling, and alignment tasks on body panels and frames.

• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

• Complete repairs within the stipulated timeframes.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Carry out aluminum repair work only within Aluminum Booths using appropriate extraction equipment.

• Give maximum care to vehicle using exterior and interior protective covers (including floor and seats).

 General Responsibilities

• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

• Wear the necessary protective gear (PPE) while working.

• Keep the work area clean and organized, and return tools and equipment after use.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Follow Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and policies.

• Report any unsafe conditions or broken tools to direct supervisor.

• Work well as part of a team and help colleagues when needed.

• Assist with other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec in Automotive or relevant studies

• Basic knowledge of automotive and engine repair experience

• Basic understanding of tools knowledge and usage

• Ability to work with various materials, including metal, fiberglass, and plastic.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards.
