Bridge Engineer - #1094539

Responsibility

• Responsible for the execution of civil and bridge structure design involving the preparation of calculations and review design drawings in accordance to customers' specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Assist in producing tender specifications and design requirements for calling of tender contracts.
• Undertake detailed design of transportation related projects including roads, bridges, and viaducts.
• Work with Qualified Person (QP) to develop design scheme for civil and bridge design works.
• Attend project/technical meetings with authorities, developers and contractors.
• Involve in project planning, implementation and close monitoring of projects.
• Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters.

Requirement

• Candidates must possess at least degree in Civil Engineering (preferably recognized by PE Board)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in civil & bridge engineering design work.
• Conversant with latest design codes and authority requirements (Codes of practice, directives, etc.).
• Competency on various design software like MIDAS, STAAD, PROKON, SAFE, etc
• With good attitude towards work and timeline.
• Able to work independently to support the Qualified Person.
