About the role

As a Freight Operations Executive at GO LOGISTICS & TRANSPORTATION PTE. LTD.', you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of freight and cargo across the Changi East Region. This full-time position is integral to the company's logistics operations, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and manage freight forwarding activities, including booking shipments, liaising with customers and transport providers

Prepare all necessary documentation for international freight movements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Monitor shipment progress and provide updates to customers on the status of their deliveries

Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the freight forwarding process

Collaborate with the wider logistics team to optimise freight operations and improve efficiency

Maintain accurate records and data related to freight movements and performance metrics

What we're looking for

Relevant experience: At least 2 years of experience in a freight forwarding or logistics role, with a demonstrated understanding of international shipping and customs procedures

Strong organisational skills: Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills: Fluent in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, transport providers, and cross-functional teams

Attention to detail: Meticulous in the preparation of documentation and data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance

Problem-solving skills: Capable of identifying and resolving issues quickly to minimise disruptions to freight movements
