About the role

ES Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This is a contract position based in Ang Mo Kio, North-East Region.

Work Hours : 12hrs rotating shift

Skills required in this role: Microsoft Exchange - Messaging Infrastructure, Microsoft Exchange, Azure Active Directory, Messaging protocol - POP3, SMTP,

What you'll be doing

• The tier 1 technical support engineer works closely within a group on the operation, administration and maintenance of the messaging systems.

  1.           Provide technical support to helpdesk case escalations / cases relating to Messaging Systems, and document the escalation and resolution

  2.           Provide troubleshooting and technical support via phone, TEAMS, web based tools and email.

  3.           Tracking and monitoring the progress of all related requests till completion

  4.           Messaging log tracking & troubleshooting

  5.           Perform basic system administration and process standard service request relating to Messaging system

  6.           Responding to service/server Health monitoring alert from monitoring systems

  7.           Perform daily operational procedures on systems including routine check of system availability as well as utilization

  8.           Provide support for Server reboot based on Work instructions (if necc)

  9.           Post Preventive maintenance (patching) system health check base on work instruction

  10.         Role requires day or night shift duty as the customer require 24x7 support

   Candidates should be familiar with

  Windows server 2016/19,

  Microsoft Exchange 2019,

  Exchange Online, M365

  AzureAD/EntraID.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience & like to work on 12hrs rotating shift

• Strong technical expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud platforms

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Have experience /familiar with and troubleshooting the following technologies –

  Microsoft Outlook 2019/M365,

  OWA ,

  SMTP protocol- SMTP,

  SMIME,

  SFTP

  Exchange Online.

  Microsoft Cloud and Azure certification are good to have.
