Responsibilities:

• Responsible for M&E Quantity Surveyor duties such as managing all cost and contractual issues on main contract as well as sub-contracts connected to the project

• Prepare budget and cost control monitoring to ensure the project cost is within the allocated budget

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison

• Prepare, evaluate, and recommend on the award of Sub-contractors

• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off

• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement, and sub-contractor payments

• Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors

• To negotiate on pricing

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in the following fields: Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering

• At least 3 year of M&E QS work experience in the Singapore construction industry

• Good understanding in ACMV is a must.

• Able to understand and select Chiller, Cooling tower, AHU, FCU, MV Fans for equipment selection costing.

• Chilled Water Piping and Ducting Quantity take off.

• Candidates with strong Electrical background but with some knowledge of ACMV, Fire, or plumbing are also be considered.
