Tooling Engineer - #1093763

Location: 10 Loyang Lane

Working Days/Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Salary: $2,800 – $3,000 (based on experience)

Bonus: Variable Bonus (VB) + AWS (subject to company performance)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Tooling Engineer to join our team and support the growth of our precision tooling department. If you have a solid foundation in mechanical or precision engineering and a passion for continuous improvement, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prioritize departmental projects to ensure timely and accurate fabrication

• Diagnose malfunctions in machines and tooling equipment, and coordinate timely repairs or replacements to minimize downtime

• Provide technical guidance and coaching to the team to resolve toolmaking issues

• Oversee inspection and quality control activities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards

• Maintain essential documentation required for smooth toolroom operations

• Advise the Tooling Manager on machine acquisition and equipment maintenance

• Liaise with external vendors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure timely delivery of parts

• Propose and implement initiatives to improve overall toolroom efficiency and performance

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in Precision Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

• Basic understanding of mould fabrication processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is an added advantage
