Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Quantitative Researchers with a strong macro focus to join our high-performing team in Singapore. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a world-class hedge fund renowned for its data-driven strategies, sophisticated research culture, and global footprint.

As part of a macro-focused pod, you will leverage cutting-edge quantitative techniques, macroeconomic theory, and alternative data to generate alpha across global markets. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record from top-tier hedge funds, asset managers, or proprietary trading firms, and thrives in a collaborative yet performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance systematic and discretionary macro trading strategies across global asset classes (FX, rates, commodities, indices).
  • Conduct deep-dive macroeconomic research, combining traditional datasets with alternative sources and proprietary signals.
  • Collaborate closely with PMs, data scientists, and technologists to refine models and contribute to portfolio construction.
  • Monitor, backtest, and continuously improve alpha signals and execution algorithms.
  • Contribute to thematic research projects that support both alpha generation and risk management.


Required experience:

  • 3+ years of macro research experience at a top hedge fund, prop trading firm, or global asset manager
  • Deep expertise in macroeconomics, global markets, and multi-asset analysis.
  • Advanced quantitative and statistical modelling skills (Python, R, MATLAB, or equivalent).
  • Strong academic credentials in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, etc.) from a top-tier university.
  • Experience working in or relocating to Singapore, with a preference for candidates already based in the region.
