About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven professional to manage the Company's operational and financial matters.

What does the role look like?

  • Work closely with accounting shared services in Philippine and Malaysia to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
  • Review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation prepared by accounting shared services in Philippine and Malaysia
  • Prepare withholding tax return, GST return, declaration and related documentation requested by the tax authority.
  • Support the business and management in any business analysis, projects, initiatives, and other duties assigned.
  • Provide financial/accounting support to other departments/ business units
  • Review, enhance, participate, and implement financial and control process improvement
  • Treasury function - Liaise with banks for banking matters
  • Plan and co-ordinate for quarterly and year-end stock take
  • Plan and co-ordinate for year-end fixed asset sighting
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, addressing the audit issues, working with the operation team to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations
  • Assist for year end tax filing


What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional qualifications - ACCA, CPA/CA etc.)
  • A minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3-4 years in full set accounting.
  • MNCs experience preferred
  • Hands-on Experience with accounting software preferably Oracle
  • Good team player and possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask and willing to be hands-on.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and eager to acquire knowledge.
  • Able to work independently, under tight timelines and pressure.
