Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a strategic and highly capable Chief of Staff to work directly with the founders and executive team. This critical role will lead operational scaling efforts, enable cross-functional alignment, and drive diversity and inclusion initiatives as the company enters its next phase of global growth. The ideal candidate will be a structured thinker, a proactive problem-solver, and a strong advocate for innovation and inclusive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy & Global Expansion
- Lead the coordination of legal and compliance frameworks to support international expansion, including registrations, licensing, tax compliance, and ESOP adjustments
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across key business functions, enhancing operational clarity and consistency
- Champion the automation of recurring tasks (e.g., payroll, journal entries) to improve efficiency and reduce time spent on manual processes
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Facilitate weekly leadership syncs to align hiring plans, operational updates, and strategic priorities
- Act as the connective bridge between departments—Finance, HR, Customer Operations, Manufacturing, and Strategic Projects—ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
- Build frameworks and processes to drive transparency, accountability, and shared ownership across functions
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) & Social Impact
- Spearhead the company’s inclusive hiring initiatives with a focus on employing persons with disabilities (PWD) in roles across operations, logistics, and specialized technical areas
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners (e.g., SGEnable) to establish and scale sustainable employment pathways
- Oversee internal governance structures to track DEI metrics and regulatory certifications (e.g., M3 licenses), while unlocking access to government grants and employment support schemes
Culture & Talent Development
- Champion a meritocratic, inclusive culture that encourages innovation, agility, and diversity of thought
- Identify and nurture emerging talent, particularly younger professionals capable of driving new ways of thinking
- Partner with the People & Culture team to develop impactful onboarding, learning, and employee engagement programs
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of experience in operations, strategy, or chief-of-staff-type roles, ideally within high-growth start-ups or innovation-led environments.
- Proven experience in legal/compliance coordination, business process design, or operational automation.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and project execution skills, with a high degree of professionalism and initiative.
- Strong passion for DEI and prior exposure to social impact or special employment initiatives is a distinct advantage.
- Globally oriented, adaptable, and thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
