MCG Talent has been exclusively briefed on a confidential VP of Communications role - APAC for a leading tech-enabled brand in Singapore.

This leadership role is responsible for strengthening brand reputation, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and aligning communications strategies with business objectives across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communications strategies across Asia Pacific and global markets.
• Heading crisis communications in the region.
• Oversee all aspects of corporate messaging, media relations, executive communications, and thought leadership.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on communication matters, brand positioning, integrated communications / digital initiatives and reputational risks.
• Lead crisis communications planning and execution.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key media, industry stakeholders, and communications partners.
• Supervise regional communications teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments globally.
• Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels and geographies.
• Monitor communications effectiveness through metrics and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of communications experience, preferably in in-house roles within multinational organizations.
• Strong background in both regional (Asia Pacific) and global communications strategies.
• Proven ability to lead integrated communications campaigns across diverse markets.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and working closely with executive leadership.
• Solid understanding of media landscape, stakeholder engagement, and corporate reputation management.
• Currently based in Singapore.
