Assistant Manager / Manager – Finance (Newton)

Salary: $22.20–$28.40/hour (approximately $4,040–$5,168/month)

Contract Duration: 7.5 months

Contract Period: Immediate / December 2026 start

Working Hours: 42 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Meticulous and attentive to detail.
• Resourceful and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Good team player, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform finance and accounting functions, including daily revenue collection, accounts payable, month-end closing, fixed asset management, fees and charges costing, bank reconciliations and preparation of management reports.
• Review work processes and recommend system enhancements and improvements to internal controls.
• Handle office administration and eRegistry/Fileshare administration matters.
• Liaise with departments and external agencies on returns and submissions.
• Provide advice and support on financial matters.
• Prepare audit schedules and reports for statutory and other audits.
• Attend to enquiries and requests from internal and external customers.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
