About the role
This role involves identifying and assessing potential suppliers based on factors like price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines, as well as sourcing suppliers both locally and internationally. You will maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory, ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations, and provide regular reports on purchasing activities, market trends, and supplier performance.
Key responsibilities
Identifying and assessing potential suppliers based on factors like price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines
Sourcing suppliers, both locally and internationally
Maintaining optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory
Making sure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations
Providing regular reports on purchasing activities, market trends, and supplier performance
Identifying and resolving issues related to procurement and supply chain
Maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
About you
Min Diploma/Degree
Proficiency in Chinese is required to liaise with China-based suppliers and navigate Chinese-language sourcing platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Min 2 years relevant working experience (Construction Related)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to start work on short notice
