We are looking for a responsible, hardworking, and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team in Jurong. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily food preparation, cooking, kitchen operations, and maintaining consistent food quality and hygiene standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the company's recipes, standards, and customer requirements.

2. Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.

3. Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portion sizes, and presentation.

4. Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food ingredients to minimise wastage.

5. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and manage ingredient usage.

6. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, utensils, and workstations.

7. Comply with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety regulations and company hygiene procedures.

8. Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and improvements to existing dishes.

9. Monitor food costs and minimise unnecessary wastage while maintaining quality.

10. Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

11. Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any defects or safety concerns.

12. Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.

• Prior working experience as a Chef or Cook in an F&B establishment is preferred.

• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.

• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety practices.

• Possess a valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate or be willing to obtain the required certification before handling food.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public hol
