Job Summary

The Sales Specialist for Chromatography Consumables engages customers to understand their needs, recommends solutions, conducts technical demonstrations, manages client relationships, and supports sales growth through market insights and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Engage chromatography and spectroscopy customers to assess their technical requirements and recommend appropriate consumable solutions
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to support customer decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare accurate quotations and proposals aligned with customer needs
• Maintain and expand customer relationships to drive sales growth and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Provide post-sales technical support by coordinating with service teams to resolve customer issues promptly
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic sales planning
• Manage multiple customer accounts independently using CRM and office productivity tools

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with GC/GCMS, HPLC/LCMS, UV-Vis, FTIR, AAS, ICP/ICPMS chromatography and spectroscopy instruments
• Strong communication and customer service skills to build and maintain effective client relationships
• Technical support skills including understanding laboratory workflows and explaining complex technical concepts clearly
• Problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills applied in sales and technical contexts
• Relevant diploma or degree in science, engineering, or related fields
• Previous experience in analytical instruments laboratory or sales of chromatography instruments
