Project Manager, Lighting (Electrical / LED Works) - #1174289

The company integrates innovative lighting technology, multimedia and creative design to deliver immersive, visually engaging experiences for landmark developments, attractions and public spaces.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to be part of the team.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Manage site operations for lighting Design & Build projects. Oversee construction crews and subcontractors, implement construction schedules, control site progress, quality, manpower and safety to deliver projects on time and within specification.
• Conduct site technical control and material submission for luminaires and electrical materials, organise technical briefings and resolve on-site technical issues including luminaire installation, wiring and lighting control system commissioning.
• Comply with Singapore BCA, WSH and EMA regulations. Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections to enforce site safety management. Manage site variations and prepare supporting technical documentation for Variation Orders (VO).
• Liaise with main contractors, M&E consultants, clients and supervisors, coordinate multi-party interfaces, and organise site commissioning, inspection and defect rectification.
• Review construction workmanship and incoming material quality, manage on-site materials and equipment. Lead site construction and technical teams, deliver on-site training and submit regular progress, quality and risk reports to headquarters.

• Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of site construction management experience in architectural or landscape lighting / M&E projects, with proven experience in design-and-build projects. Experience on Singapore construction sites is highly preferred.
• Solid technical knowledge of electrical works, LED lighting and smart control systems. Familiar with site construction methodologies, able to read and review construction drawings, proficient in AutoCAD.
• Familiar with Singapore BCA, WSH and EMA regulations, as well as local site inspection and acceptance procedures. Hands-on experience managing construction crews and subcontractors. Strong at multi-party site coordination and capable of promptly resolving site emergencies and technical issues.
• Competent in written and spoken English for on-site communication and independent preparation of English technical reports. Strong safety and cost awareness, excellent execution skills and able to manage projects on site.
