Senior Customer Service Associate (Retail) - #1174217

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, responsible and customer-oriented Senior Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. The successful candidate will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, leading the sales team, delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets.

This role carries additional supervisory responsibilities, including staff supervision, sales performance monitoring, inventory management and ensuring smooth store operations. The candidate should have strong retail experience, leadership abilities and a passion for fashion and customer service.

Team Supervision & Leadership

• Assist the Store Manager in supervising and leading the retail team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Guide, motivate and support Customer Service Associates in achieving individual and store sales targets.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and service standards.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance to junior team members.
• Assist in staff training, onboarding and performance monitoring.

Customer Service & Sales

• Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Understand customers' needs and provide appropriate fashion styling and product recommendations.
• Promote products, upsell and cross-sell to maximise sales opportunities.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Lead by example in maintaining high standards of customer service.

Sales & Store Performance

• Monitor daily sales performance and support the team in achieving sales targets.
• Review sales results and identify opportunities to improve store performance.
• Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities.
• Ensure the team is knowledgeable about product features, promotions and new arrivals.

Store Operations & Inventory Management

• Oversee daily cashiering operations and ensure accurate payment transactions.
• Monitor stock replenishment, merchandise displays and inventory levels.
• Assist with stock receiving, transfers, stock counts and inventory control.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed according to Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness, tidiness and overall presentation.

Store Administration & Compliance

• Assist the Store Manager with staff scheduling and manpower arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Report operational issues and customer feedback to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum GCE N/O Level or ITE qualification.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in fashion retail or a related retail industry.
• Experience in leading and supervising a retail sales team.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Good salesmanship and customer service abilities.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Passionate about fashion and retail operations.
• Willing to work on 5.5 days including weekends and weekdays
