Job Summary

Provide mentoring and behavioural support to at-risk youths aged 12–18, managing discipline and emotional challenges to promote positive student engagement and successful reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide at-risk students facing attendance, behavioural, and emotional challenges to improve their school engagement
• Manage student discipline by conducting school patrols, investigations, detention, and reflection sessions to maintain a safe learning environment
• Facilitate individual and group activities that develop emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and positive behaviour skills
• Support students returning from suspension or prolonged absence by collaborating with teachers to implement tailored interventions
• Maintain detailed student case records, monitor progress, and prepare reports on engagement and intervention outcomes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, or related Social Science field preferred
• At least 3 years of experience working with youths aged 12–18 in schools, residential homes, or community centres
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
• Relevant youth support certifications preferred
• Strong communication, mentoring, conflict-resolution, and interpersonal skills
• Patient, compassionate, and able to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally

Other Information

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
• Lunch Break: 1 hour (Monday to Thursday)
