Resident Technical Officer (RTO) - #1174007

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Monitor contractors' workmanship and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with contractors, consultants and project teams.

• Identify and report any site discrepancies, defects or non-compliance issues.

• Maintain proper site records, inspection reports and daily progress reports.

• Coordinate and attend site inspections, testing and submission of relevant documentation.

• Monitor work progress and highlight potential delays or technical issues to the project team.

• Ensure construction works comply with relevant statutory and authority requirements.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with IES or ACES.

• Relevant experience in civil and structural construction works.

• Experience in infrastructure or LTA projects will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of construction practices, engineering drawings and site supervision.

• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with contractors and consultants.

• Responsible, proactive and able to work under site conditions.
