Job Description & Requirements

1. Provide guidance, managerial, technical, technical support to MEP Engineers and the rest of the Project Team in terms of MEP items
2. Report and resolve MEP works in consultation with Project Manager
3. Monitoring project budgets and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project execution.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements (ie BCA, NEA, PUB, FSSD and Registered Inspector)
5. Analyse drawings, specifications and statements of work in preparation of activity networks for project resource planning and scheduling
6. Assist in Tender Preparation by providing MEP expertise on conceptual bids/tender to make certain all MEP systems are accurately estimated and all system components are included
7. Review project documents to become familiar with MEP and overall requirements, review project documents (spec and manuals), MEP systems and design for technical feasibility and provide feedback to project team and client regarding constructibility issues, value engineering, gaps etc.
8. Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing, priority delivery and top service
9. Communicate progress and prepare appropriate reports as needed
10. To apply value engineering approach wherever possible
11. Perform other duties assigned by the D&T Director and the Management

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering(recognized by PEB)

Diploma in MEP Coordination Course

Experience

Min 8 years work experience in construction industry
