Retail Store Supervisor - #1173797
S1 INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS PRIVATE LIMITED
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, highly organized Retail Store Supervisor to bridge our central office operations and physical retail touchpoints. In this role, you will be based primarily at our corporate office for operational planning, reporting, and workflow management, while maintaining a high-frequency field presence to oversee store operations, inventory flow, visual merchandising, and floor team performance across our retail locations.
This role suits someone who enjoys a mix of coordination work, customer interaction, and retail sales. Store coverage takes priority over routine operations support during assigned coverage shifts.
Store Operations & Audits
- Conduct frequent, regular visits to islandwide retail outlets to inspect daily store operations, service standards, and operational compliance.
- Monitor store cleanliness, customer service delivery, and adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate daily stock deliveries, collection slips, and return flows between the central office and retail storefronts.
- Work closely with office administrative teams to manage inventory audits, stock replenishment schedules, and stock-take reconciliations.
Visual Merchandising & Campaign Execution
- Ensure all retail outlets maintain pristine visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee the setup of promotional booths, product displays, and marketing collateral during product launches or special events.
Team Guidance & Performance Support
- Guide, support, and mentor store retail staff on daily operational workflows, attendance protocols, and customer engagement standards.
- Act as the primary communication bridge between retail floor staff and office management, resolving operational bottlenecks swiftly.
Office Reporting & Administrative Management
- Manage daily and weekly operational reports from the office, tracking store sales performance, footfall trends, and inventory variances.
- Assist management in implementing operational standard operating procedures (SOPs), shift scheduling, and performance feedback structures.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'N' Level or equivalent educational qualifications.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in retail operations, visual merchandising, or store supervision.
- Highly mobile, energetic, and comfortable with a hybrid working style (splitting time between office administration and frequent field travel to stores).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for operational detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to bridge office teams and frontline staff.
- Willingness to travel frequently between the office and various retail locations on a regular basis.
