Role overview

The Executive Director provides overall leadership for the organization, translates Board-approved strategy into operating plans, and oversees business performance, financial management, compliance, risk management, and customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the organization’s business strategy and annual operating plan in line with the Board’s objectives.
2. Lead day-to-day operations, set and monitor key performance indicators, and take timely action to support agreed revenue, margin, cost and operational targets.
3. Oversee the organization’s profit and loss, budgets, cash flow and capital allocation, and ensure resources are managed responsibly.
4. Ensure the organization meets applicable legal, regulatory and tax obligations, and maintain appropriate internal controls and governance practices.
5. Identify, assess and manage material business risks, including foreign exchange, investment, credit and operational risks, and implement suitable mitigation measures.
6. Report to the Board on financial and operational performance, progress against plans, material risks and significant issues, and recommend appropriate actions.
7. Maintain customer relationships and attend customer calls and meetings across relevant time zones when required by business needs.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
2. Ability to lead business operations and make sound decisions in a dynamic, competitive environment.
3. Ability to take accountability for assigned responsibilities and deliver measurable business objectives.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
5. Willingness to attend customer calls and meetings across time zones when required by business needs.
