Restaurant Supervisor (Pre-Opening at Dempsey) - #1173707

Mission Group is a Singapore hospitality group behind concepts including Casa Vostra, Willow, Chin Mee Chin, temper., Petra and more. Our newest restaurant opens in late January 2027 at Dempsey Hill: a semi-fine dining Chinese restaurant set in a spacious two-storey building. It will have a grand main dining hall, private dining rooms, and a wine lounge on the second floor. We’re looking for supervisors to help set up and lead service from opening day.

What you’ll do

• Supervise daily service across the dining hall, private dining rooms and wine lounge
• Lead, brief and coach the service team so standards stay high and consistent
• Help set up pre-opening SOPs, service steps and training
• Plan section allocations and manage the flow of service during peak periods
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues calmly and professionally
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar and management for smooth operations
• Oversee private dining bookings and event service
• Support rostering, stock checks, opening and closing duties, and cash handling
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in restaurant service, including 1 year or more as a captain or supervisor in fine dining, semi-fine dining or a hotel restaurant
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
• Strong leadership, organisation and guest-handling skills
• Good communication skills in English. Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage for serving Chinese-speaking guests.
• Wine or tea knowledge, or WSET certification, is a plus
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
