Job Summary

You will deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, automate provisioning with Terraform, administer servers, implement security controls, and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure to support business applications
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for automated, consistent cloud provisioning
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers to ensure system stability and performance
• Implement cloud security controls including IAM, network security, and encryption to protect data and resources
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to detect and resolve infrastructure issues promptly
• Support CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation
• Support cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets, load balancers, and DNS for optimal connectivity
• Administer network and security applications including firewalls, endpoint protection, and Active Directory

Required competencies and certifications

• 1–3 years of relevant cloud or IT infrastructure experience
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Linux and Windows server administration skills
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure provisioning and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of cloud networking and security concepts
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Ansible, CloudFormation, or ARM templates for automation
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Experience administering firewalls, endpoint protection, and Active Directory
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and relevant cloud certifications
• Experience working in government or regulated environments
