Automation Tester – Selenium - #1173211

Experience: 4+ years in software testing, with hands-on automation experience in Selenium

Location - Changi Business Park (East)

Nature of Role - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or another relevant programming language.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute automated test suites, investigate failures, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Track defects and testing activities using tools such as Jira.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.

RequiredSkills

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Good programming/scripting skills, preferably Java.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Knowledge of automation framework design, including Page Object Model (POM) and reusable test components.
• Experience with API testing, preferably using Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in defect management and tracking using Jira or equivalent tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Banking or financial services domain experience would be advantageous.
