The Osteopath works closely with doctors and otherhealthcare professionals to design treatment programmes to help patients withinjuries, disabilities and physical impairments increase their mobility, and beindependent in their physical activities.
The programmes may include exercises and the use ofassistive devices. He/She also works with patients to help them optimise theirhealth by promoting wellbeing and healthy living, and preventing injuries.
Other duties include
~ Conduct talks relating to physiotherapy andrehabilitation.
~ Test and evaluate devices.
