Senior Engineer [SL] - #1172966

1. Project Management

• Plan, coordinate and oversee construction projects from commencement to completion.

• Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor project schedules, progress and deadlines.

• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.

2. Design and Planning

• Review construction drawings and specifications with architects, consultants and engineers.

• Conduct feasibility assessments and risk evaluations to support construction planning.

• Follow up with consultants on technical documentation and Method Statements (MOS).

3. Quality Assurance

• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

• Monitor construction materials and methods to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

• Identify and resolve quality issues and non-compliance matters.

4. Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and relevant authorities on technical matters.

• Resolve site technical issues and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.

• Monitor the progress of technical submissions, approvals and construction documentation.

5. Site Management and Safety

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure work is completed according to project schedules and requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site personnel.

• Coordinate with safety personnel to ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.

6. Budget and Cost Control

• Monitor project expenditure and assist with budget forecasting.

• Review contractor invoices and variation claims against contractual requirements.

• Support cost control initiatives to maintain project financial objectives.

7. Reporting

• Prepare project progress reports and highlight potential risks, delays and technical issues.

• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Head of Engineering.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Engineering or Project Management Team.
