UNIX L3 Engineer - #1172864

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, build, and harden UNIX/Linux servers, including RHEL and Oracle Linux.

• Configure storage, networking, security, and system services.

• Support project planning, design reviews, deployment, application onboarding, and cutover activities.

• Develop shell scripts and Python automation for server provisioning and operational tasks.

• Implement configuration management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and standardized build procedures.

• Perform OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance checks.

• Support high availability, clustering, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.

• Prepare technical design documents, build documents, SOPs, disaster recovery documentation, and operational runbooks.

• Provide knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.

Must-Have Skills

• Linux administration: RHEL and Oracle Linux.

• UNIX/Linux server build, configuration, and security hardening.

• Shell scripting and Python automation.

• Server provisioning, patching, and vulnerability remediation.

• Infrastructure implementation and deployment support.

Good to Have

• High availability and clustering: Veritas Cluster / VCS.

• VMware, AWS, and Azure.
