Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Retail Operations Manager & Human Resource Manager to oversee daily minimart operations and manage HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, and staff development, to build a strong workforce and support company growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining accurate staff records to ensure workforce readiness
• Process work pass applications (WP, S Pass, EP) and ensure compliance with Singapore MOM regulations to maintain legal workforce standards
• Develop and implement HR policies and staff guidelines to promote consistent employee management and workplace culture
• Handle employee relations, conduct performance evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions to maintain a productive work environment
• Coordinate training and staff development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth
• Oversee daily minimart shop operations to ensure smooth functioning and customer satisfaction
• Plan and manage store staff scheduling and manpower allocation to optimize operational efficiency
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store cleanliness to enhance the shopping experience
• Monitor sales performance and product displays to drive revenue growth and visual merchandising effectiveness
• Support inventory control and stock management to ensure product availability and reduce shrinkage
• Collaborate with shop supervisors to identify and implement improvements in sales and operational efficiency

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, Retail Management, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in HR or retail management
• Experience in retail, supermarket, or minimart operations is an advantage
• Strong leadership and team management skills demonstrated through effective team coordination and motivation
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities applied in fast-paced retail environments
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic retail setting
