Job Description
- Support Registered Nurses (RNs) in the coordination of care of patients
- Assist physicians and RNs in bedside procedures and treatment
- Communicate effectively and maintain collaborative relationship with the multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Provide patient education to patients, Next of Kin (NOK) and caregivers on self-care management
- Attend to and assist RNs in patient resuscitation or medical emergencies
- Support clinical supervision of new enrolled nurses, support care staff and coaching of nursing students in the delivery of nursing care
- Identify common causes of patient safety incidents and work with the supervisor and senior nurses in carrying out quality improvement activities
- Be a team player and participate in clinical audits as required
- Candidate must be enrolled with SNB
- NITEC in Nursing or State Enrolled Nurse Certificate
- At least 1 year of experience as Enrolled Nurse in relevant discipline
