Stemgenic is a Singapore-headquartered boutique executive search and career advisory firm specialising in leadership and business-critical functional roles across industrial and scientific sectors in APAC. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an entrepreneurial search leader to establish and grow our Mission Critical & Industrial Infrastructure practice across APAC. This is an opportunity for an established recruitment professional who wants to move beyond running a successful desk and take ownership of building a specialist business within a growing firm.

The Opportunity

You will take full ownership of the Mission Critical & Industrial Infrastructure practice, covering data centres, pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities, food and chemical plants, and other mission-critical and high-tech buildings across design, construction, commissioning and operations. You will shape its market strategy, build client partnerships, deliver executive search mandates and drive commercial performance. Initially, this will be a hands-on billing leadership role, with the opportunity to progressively build and lead a team as the business scales.

What You Will Do

• Own the Mission Critical & Industrial Infrastructure desk across APAC and set its strategy, client focus and growth plan
• Build and deepen trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and HR partners at developers, owner-operators, EPC and design firms, MEP contractors and critical equipment suppliers
• Win and deliver retained and exclusive executive search mandates, from brief to offer
• Drive revenue, placements and desk growth as a hands-on individual contributor
• Grow the practice over time by hiring and developing consultants to build a team around the desk
• Represent Stemgenic in the sector through networking, industry events and thought leadership

What We Are Looking For

• Solid years of executive search or senior-level recruitment experience, including at least 5 years within Mission Critical, Data Centres, Construction, Engineering & Infrastructure or Industrial sectors, with a strong and consistent billing track record
• An established network of client relationships and commercial contacts across the sector, with the ability to develop business from day one
• Strong understanding of the project lifecycle (design, build, commission and operate) and its specialist talent markets in the APAC region
• Demonstrated success in winning and delivering senior-level recruitment or executive search assignments
• An entrepreneurial and commercially driven mindset, with a genuine interest in building and scaling a business
• Strong relationship-building skills and the credibility to engage senior executives and decision-makers
• Previous experience in leading, mentoring or developing recruitment teams
