Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and learning goals.
- Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate student records, portfolios, and progress reports.
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children at all times.
- Establish positive relationships and communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development and classroom activities.
- Support children's learning through play-based and inquiry-based approaches.
- Organize classroom resources and maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, professional development activities, and parent engagement programmes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership to support school initiatives and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Minimum ECDA L1 Certification.
- Mandarin Language Teacher
- Minimum 1-2 years of preschool teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate, caring, patient, and committed to nurturing young learners.
- Proficient in English; additional languages will be an advantage.
- Valid First Aid Certification is preferred.
