Senior Fire Safety Manager - #1171444

To serve as the appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager while supporting Facilities Operations Managers (FOMs) in the delivery of IFM services, operational readiness, emergency response, maintenance coordination, statutory compliance and contract performance within assigned clusters.

(1) Fire Safety Leadership

• Perform statutory duties as appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM).
• Manage Fire Certificate renewal processes.
• Conduct fire risk assessments and fire safety audits.
• Lead fire emergency preparedness exercises.
• Investigate fire incidents, false alarms and fire system failures.
• Liaise with company's and Authority representatives on fire safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with Fire Safety Act requirements.

(2) IFM Operations Support

• Support Facilities Operations Managers in managing day-to-day facilities operations.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Participate in maintenance planning.
• Monitor contractor performance and service delivery.
• Support fault response and emergency recovery activities.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Review maintenance reports and technical submissions.
• Support management of statutory inspections and certifications.
• Support incident management
• Assist in system health monitoring and obsolescence reviews.
• Support mobilisation, transition and asset handover activities.
• Participate in operational meetings with Authority representatives.

(3) Emergency & Incident Management

• Serve as part of the emergency response leadership team.
• Coordinate response to fire, power outages, flooding, ACMV failures and major operational incidents.
• Support development and implementation of recovery plans.
• Prepare incident reports, presentations and management updates.

(4) Audit & Compliance

• Support Authority audits and compliance inspections.
• Conduct internal compliance checks.
• Track closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Registered Senior Fire Safety Manager
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant facilities management experience.
• Experience managing fire safety systems in large institutional, industrial or government facilities.
