Job Description

• Researchers will be based in Singapore during the term of their appointment, subject to standard NUS annual leave provisions.

• Researchers will be expected to develop and pursue a research agenda related or adjacent to the themes above, or otherwise capable of contributing significantly to the development or understanding of law in Asia. This should include substantial research leading to publication, such as refereed journal articles, book chapters, or a monograph.

• Researchers will be expected to present their research and participate actively in CALS events.

• Researchers will also contribute to other CALS research projects and initiatives as assigned by the Centre Director.

Qualifications

A PhD or equivalent in law, or in a related field where the candidate’s research has substantial relevance to law in Asia.
