This position centers on executing broking activities and managing key corporate client placements within property and casualty lines of business. You will lead risk evaluation processes, negotiate policy terms with regional underwriters, and structure comprehensive placement strategies tailored to corporate risk profiles. The role operates within a fast-paced client advisory environment, requiring regular engagement with insurance markets, underwriters, and corporate risk managers.

• Portfolio Broking: Managing complex property and casualty risk placements for corporate accounts, negotiating competitive terms, coverage, and pricing with insurance carriers.

• Client Advisory: Conducting risk profile assessments and reviews of existing coverage to recommend tailored property and casualty risk transfer structures.

• Market Engagement: Establishing and maintaining relationships with underwriters across direct insurance and reinsurance markets to secure optimal placement outcomes.

• Technical Review: Evaluating insurance wordings, clauses, and endorsements to ensure contractual alignment with policyholder exposures and market standards.

• Account Servicing: Overseeing policy renewal cycles, endorsement processing, and major claim consultations in collaboration with internal technical teams.

skills and experience required

To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field of study.

• Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in property and casualty broking or corporate placement within the general insurance sector.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of property and casualty insurance products, policy wordings, reinsurance structures, and risk placement workflows.

• Market Awareness: Knowledge of the Singapore general insurance market and international brokerage practices.

• Communication: Effective communication and negotiation skills for engaging with underwriters and senior corporate stakeholders.

• Certifications: Relevant professional insurance qualifications such as CGI, ComGI, or ACII.
