Strategic & Operational Support
- Partner with the On-site Division Director and HODs to manage daily, monthly, and annual strategic plans.
- Monitor departmental performance across the division, providing guidance to ensure robust organizational management and alignment with corporate goals.
- Establish and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and achieve divisional objectives.
- Review and advise on procurement, leases, and rental agreements to ensure compliance with company regulations and proper accounting standards.
People Management & Talent Development
- Support functions in managing manpower establishment, personnel evaluations, and structural transfers aligned with human resource development schedules.
- Guide HODs in talent cultivation, including the selection and grooming of promotion candidates to sustain organizational continuity.
- Oversee division-wide welfare, discipline, safety, quality, compliance, and training frameworks.
- Collaborate with HR to conduct interviews and select top talent for the division.
Business Development & ClientRelations
- Proactively identify, create, and secure new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Foster internal collaboration across departments to drive the overall growth and development of Sankyu Singapore.
HQ Liaison & Reporting
- Act as the primary liaison with Japan Headquarters and regional branches.
- Deliver regular, comprehensive updates to stakeholders and management in Japan regarding on-site business performance.
- Facilitate smooth, cross-border communication to enable coordinated and efficient strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional relevant experience.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken in English and Japanese (native-level proficiency in Japanese is required, as it is necessary to liaise work progress with the Japanese stakeholders and customers).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in operations management, corporate planning, or a strategic advisory role within a multinational corporation.
- Sound knowledge of operational compliance, safety standards, and basic accounting/contractual principles.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide HODs and collaborate effectively across cultures.
