French Translator - #1170774

Responsibilities

• Translate business documents, contracts and communications between Chinese, English and French.
• Provide accurate interpretation/translation during meetings and business discussions.
• Review and proofread translated materials to ensure accuracy, consistency and appropriate terminology.
• Localise content for different French-speaking markets
• Support translation of corporate, marketing and internal communication materials.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business and project requirements.
• Manage multiple translation assignments and deliver within required timelines.
• Support regional business activities and travel when required.

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken proficiency in French, Chinese and English.
• Minimum 2 years of translation experience.
• Degree in Translation, Linguistics or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in corporate, technical or marketing translation advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, language accuracy and cultural awareness.
• Familiarity with CAT tools such as SDL Trados or Memo Q is advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and travel frequently.
