Purchasing Executive - #1170585

Job Description

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including quotation evaluation and procurement execution
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and service agreements to achieve cost efficiency and business objectives
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
• Coordinate inbound shipments from overseas suppliers and manage the import documentation
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any shipment issues or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate procurement records, databases and documentation
• Forecast purchasing needs and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
• Provide administrative support to Sales team to ensure smooth business operations
• Assist with coordination of administrative tasks and operational matters when required
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field

- Min. 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP system

- Strong negotiation, communication and problem solving skills

- Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

- Knowledge of heavy vehicles and spare parts is an added advantage

- Able to start immediately or within short notice preferred
